Beautiful Bamboo

These clients came to us with a compact, uniquely-shaped kitchen space. They wanted a functional kitchen, with as much storage as possible for the small space.  This kitchen boasts many large box drawers for optimal base cabinet storage, and wall cabinets to the ceiling for maximum square footage. The long handles were chosen to accentuate the beautiful grain of the bamboo, and run in the same direction to streamline the appearance. Wine cabinets on either side of the island, with beveled-edge furniture kick help turn the island from just a work space, into a focal point.

Show-stopping Raspberry

We are still awaiting finished photos of the whole project, but couldn't resist showing off the raspberry island we managed to photograph. 

This kitchen is composed of 3 paint colours on shaker style pained mdf doors. The surrounding upper cabinets are done in Benjamin Moore's paint colour, "Cement Grey", surrounding base cabinets are Benjamin Moore's "Stone Gray", and the island is done to match the accent wall in the livingroom in Benjamin Moore's "Raspberry".

Clear Stained Shaker Style Kitchen With Dovetail Drawers

This kitchen is any chef’s dream!  The bright, airy, open space really does become the heart of the home. And it’s heart beats strong.  Bringing in wood into the space really helped warm things up and add a sophisticated balance in the space. Touches of black handles create some harmony 
The customers dream has always been to have the whole family under one roof so they can watch their grandchildren grow.
This kitchen was 1 of 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms, craft room and even custom dog kennels to house their champion racers.


Mill Bay Reno

1900’s cottage  on the ocean that has been added on to over the years and it was time to bring this space into the 20th century while keeping with the classic design elements of the craftsman style cottage.   As a busy family of 4, the client was focused on making the kitchen the most functional space possible.  In terms of function, there was not one part of one cabinet that was not altered to suite a specific need.  This kitchen is packed full of surprises that keep you wanting to peek into the next cabinet to reveal another fantastic piece of craftsmanship. From dovetailed drawers to glass sided cabinets so as not to impede the ocean views. 

Overall we were ecstatic with the results and feel that we successfully bridged the gap between the original architecture and bringing it back into the present day. The resulting look is clean, bright and timeless, and Oh So functional!

 Eager to create a serene place to escape the day to day hustle and bustle of the big City, this young professional couple approached us to create their escape in the Kitsilano neighborhood in Vancouver.
The Renovation – brought light to the space with white shaker cabinets – the goal was to create a neutral background with re-sale in mind. Allowing for potential buyers to imagine themselves in the space and imagine easy transformations by adding their own touches and accents.
